Hey there. I meant to tell you a while ago that I really enjoyed the article in VegNews. I had been wondering for a while how farm subsidies work, but had never done the research myself. Thanks for enabling my laziness! Ha ha...seriously though, that was a very well-written and informative article. I hope VN features your work in future issues.

I also checked out the argument regarding animal rights on OpposingViews.com. That's a fascinating site...I wound up glued to my computer for far longer than any healthy amount of time. Thanks for making an articulate argument--when people like you and Bob Torres put forth thoughtful and researched assertions regarding this issue, you speak for all of us and give more credibility to our group. So, again, thanks.

It was great to meet up at AR 2008! I didn't even realize you were on Vegified. Any time you need to listen to Slayer while driving through the ghetto, I'm your guy.

I limped my way back to Chicago last night and am currently doing the whole - tons of Advil and elevation thing for my foot. It's feeling better. Hopefully it will heal up and I'll be back to kicking-ass vegan-style soon.
