About Me: Just welcomed my second daughter to the world on March 12. Carolina Lily joins Victoria Jane (age 7).

Full time sports editor for a weekly community newspaper, part time barista (slash-cook-slash-cashier-etc) at a coffee house in Springfield.

How I became a veggie: I started getting interested in it about a year ago as I continued to try and rescue my health after ballooning to 300 pounds just five years ago (I've lost and kept off 73 since then). I didn't know any vegetarians then (still don't know very many), so I did most of my research online. The more I read the more I knew this was the way for me to live.

I've been ovo/lacto since the beginning of June '07, but slowly cutting out as much ovo and lacto as I can.

yea..i would change the ages to 10 and 25 l0l. no but seriously..you cant protect them from anything, you can only teach them the right and wrong way of doing things and then let them learn for themselves. If you believe in them and stay a good daddy, they'll learn well =)

There is a nifty and unique rest. in the basement of a Unitarian Church just off the main strip in the Plaza area called Eden Alley, worth the trip!! I have a review on my page. I'd also recommend Jerusalem Cafe if you like Middle Eastern foods.

My grandma lived in Ozark until she died so I have been through Springfield ALOT!!! Good Luck on that 1/2er, I am training again for a 5K. I used to be 200 pounds and lost 72 but have since managed to find about 25 back...oh the struggles...peace, love and zen

the rage toward the winged beasts stems from a vicious attack i endured during high school. the monster-robin that tried to peck me to death. since that fateful evening, i've had multiple near-death bird experiences. thus, my hatred.
