About Me: I grew up as an Army Brat, moving every few years. Born in Salinas, California - I lived in Germany 3 times(Nuremburg, Goeppingen and Kitzingen), Kansas, Virginia, and South Carolina. South Carolina has been my home since 1990. I met my husband here and we have been married for over 10 years and together as a couple for 15 years. I have always been a tom-boy. I have never fit in. I still don't. I live in harmony with my husband and 2 dogs that were both adopted (Indie and Simon). We are approved to become foster-adopt parents of the human species, once we are matched.

How I became a veggie: My husband had been vegan for 3 years. I was already cooking vegan at home and was only eating non-vegan when we went out to eat. I just knew it was the right thing to do. I read the book "Vegan: The New Ethics Of Eating", by Erik Marcus and that was all it took. I have been vegan since January 2006.
