About Me: Ello as you've probably already read my names Aled and im a 19 year old mechanic!!! Ive been Vegie for 7 months now and still going strong,hey we've all got to start some were!! I going to be giving a vegan diet ago from now on ,well only animal product i eat at the moment is cheese so cant see it being to tuff to drop that too.....ah see how it goes!!! Any question please ask!!!!

How I became a veggie: Well I turned vegetarian about seven months ago probably for two reasons ,first of all I wanted to see if I could do it and secondly health reasons...up until a week ago i was not sure if i had an ethical reason to be veggie as at a younger age i was a keen hunter ,i saw this a been a bit hipicritical,but after watchin an educational flim on Youtube called 'Earthlings' i know for a fact im vegetarian on ethical grounds!! if this makes no sense or youd like to question me or have a dig please feel free...oh and cheers Lewis for showing me that film!!!

Yeah I think cheese that melts properly is the one most vegans miss the most haha. I know the leather shoe thing is harder as well, you can't afford to replace them right away, do it over time. You've paid for them now so chucking a good pair of shoes in the bin isn't going to help any one or any thing. I know you feel like a hypocrit, but once each pair is on its way out just replace them with non animal shoes, I was in the same boat. :-)

it definitely took me awhile to make the switch from lacto-ovo vegetarian to vegan too. i'm a pretty new vegan like you.. only since november but before i was vegetarian for 5 years.

its been really good so far though! it takes a little while to get used to neurotically reading every label but other than that its basically smooth sailing.

I'm good. And I don't know about the coffee thing; I'm just a freak of nature I guess. I've never liked the taste of it and it's not even just that it's the smell too...yuck.
