About Me: I'm a student, living with 6 awesome vegan cats. I don't have a car, so I'm lucky enough to get to bike everywhere & to show people that vegans can kick ass without meat by competing at cycling, duathlons, and triathlons. I don't believe that consumption necessitates or in any way justifies human, animal, or environmental abuses.

How I became a veggie: I took an environmental class in high school that entirely changed my life and made me realize all my actions had consequences that I was responsible for. Learning about the destructive effects of animal agriculture made me go vegetarian, and once I learned about the horrors of dairy and egg production I went vegan (I told myself, if I'm vegetarian for the reasons I am, it only makes sense to be vegan).
