About Me: I am a college student, poet, musician, volunteer EMT, and I work at a health food store. I'm crazy about blues, bluegrass, Bob Dylan, and banjos, and one of my favorite activities is howling at the moon.

How I became a veggie: I took a philosophy class that re-affirmed my belief in the human soul (hey, my professor was really awesome) and it didn't make any sense to me that animals wouldn't have souls, too. I gave up eating meat shortly thereafter and I've been veg for about two years now. I was vegetarian on and off all through my teenage years, so the transition wasn't too difficult.
