About Me: I'm not very good with these things, so unless a lot of my friends start using this too I don't know how well I'll keep this up.

I recently finished grad school and am currently looking for teaching jobs. Sadly, as I have a BA in French and no one cares about it as much as Spanish, it's been a bit challenging. My MS is in International Affairs, but I've grown fond of Atlanta and hate DC, so it just becomes making the best of an imperfect situation.

I am married to an awesome (but sadly non-veg) guy, and have two cats, who are basically our children. Who am I kidding, they own us. I'm pretty sure they're plotting our demise as we sleep.

How I became a veggie: It was a combination of a bunch of things. I had awesome veg friends who showed me I could eat well without meat. I also just realized it's kind of hypocritical to say one loves animals while eating them. I ended up going vegan once I realized how entwined the dairy and veal industries are and realized most of my cookbooks were vegan anyway.
