I am vegan for animal rights reasons, and I strongly believe that nonhuman animals have an equal right to life and liberty, and to not be the property of another being, as any human does. I hate speciesism as much as any other type of predjudice. Looking to chat with other veg*ns/animal rights advocates.



My main interests are: Manic Street Preachers, rock music, animals, animal rights/liberation, horror and comedy films, Britcoms, comedians, art, reading, drawing, comics and graphic novels, video games, slash and femslash fanfiction, wolves and werewolves, therianthropy, and otherkin.


I am also interested in gay/lesbian/bi/trans rights, feminism, racial equality, anarchism and socialism. I strongly believe in equal rights regardless of class, race, creed, sex, sexuality, or species.

I first went lacto/ovo veggie in 1999 after finally realising that it was wrong for animals to be killed for people to eat their flesh. However, I was still sadly very naïve about eggs and dairy and the suffering, exploitation, and death involved, and therefore continued eating them for a little over 2 years.

Until one day, when I was 17, I got some leaflets from the local AR group about the egg and dairy industries, and was horrified and disgusted by what I read. I went vegan that same day and have never looked back, and have also been a staunch supporter of all aspects of animal rights ever since.
