About Me: quiet, somewhat nerdy nova scotian. in my free time i like walking/hiking/jogging/generally spending time in nature, even when it's below freezing, playing video games, reading fiction and non-fiction, and going to shows/clubs. oh, and protesting at the fur shop downtown, or handing out leaflets and holding up anti-seal hunt signs by the public gardens. see picture below... yeah that's me in the MS paint circle.

i am listed as a smoker, but i do not smoke cigarettes. you know, one of those anti-war hippie types (without the dirt). and a cigar here and there when the mood strikes me...

i want to be a writer. despite my lazy internet typing i write "seriously" quite a bit and want to take english courses in the future.

How I became a veggie: around age 15 ... i don't really remember why. i think i made the connection between my cat, who i love very much, and other animals. i originally went vegetarian but it didn't take me long to go vegan.
