How I became a veggie: I don't exactly remember, because I was eleven years old when I made the decision to stop eating meat...but I remember coming to the realization of what meat actually was, and it disgusted me. I remember considering how lucky I was to be able to feel love, comfort and happiness and thinking that every living thing should be able to feel those things too...and for the natural duration of their lives. I told my mom I was done eating meat, she tried to get me to eat fish, but I knew that fish had feelings too, and she and my dad supported me so much, coming up with interesting meal choices for me. Now, I've completely embraced the vegetarian lifestyle, and there is nothing in this life I feel more strongly about than animal rights.
