How I became a veggie: I have spent a good part of my life trying to educate others on animal cruelty awareness issues. All of my donated income goes toward animal rights organizations, my platform as Mrs. Florida reflects my beliefs. I'm anti-fur and pro-PETA. I've been extremely concerned about the environment and do everything in my power to help. But what a hypocrite I was! I would go home and EAT ANIMALS! I can't believe I never noticed how silly that was! On February 1st, 2008, my husband, 3 year old son and myself vowed to never eat meat again!
