About Me: My name is Micah, and I am an intelligent, funny, and kind-hearted gentleman. I enjoy the company of good friends, but I'm also a homebody. I am an international studies major focusing in N. Africa and the Middle East. I enjoy cultures, languages (I'm studying Arabic), cooking, documentaries, social justice, animal rights, playing my guitar, riding bike, traveling, art shows, photography, politics, graphic design, etc.

How I became a veggie: I became a vegetarian in early September of 2007, after reading literature about vegan/vegetarian diet, and all of its moral/ethical, environmental, and health reasons associated with it. My conscience started working on me, and I had to listen. I cut out meat on the spot and haven't ate it since. In February of 2008, I decided to take my commitment to the next level and became a vegan. Now, my work is educating people about the social and environmental consequences associated with the food they choose to consume.
