About Me:

How I became a veggie: I decided that I didn't like the taste of meat and I was only eating it because that was what my parent gave me. When I was 13, I realized that I could just not eat the meat and be better in many ways. Since then I have inspired other people to think about what they were eating and decide if it was worth it. It wasn't because of mad cow disease or my weight alone, all though these were all hot issues at the time.

I have been a vegetarian for over 13 years... my love for animals and my desire to be healthy were really high on my list of reasons why.
Now I am vegan, and this site has had a lot to do with my opinions on things. I was to lazy before to research anything and I was ignorant to the horrors that take place and the dairy industry. I feel 100 percent confident that I will not go back to the old life I had because I feel like I have truly discovered who I really am as a vegan. Being happy, what can be better than that.

I'm 'virtually' fasting at the mo'
....i really should do some shopping ....
but i must send away for some seeds ...
time to start planting food in the garden ....
that's why i'm 'fasting'....
but it takes time to grow food ... time
and patience ...
and effort ...
and waiting and lazing ....
love and meditation ...
a bit of luck
and some fine weather ....
and may be ....
i will eat at my table
a little from my garden
as reward for taking the time
to play the game

...but I won't get all that done this weekend ....!!!!

Thanks, it's good! Plenty of vegan products, although not as many as in the states. But we've got vegan burgers, soy cheese, soymilk and all the veggies you could want down here... :)

Ah no, I dislike eating bananas because of the texture and I dislike swimming in the ocean and having seaweed touch me.

Which reminds me, I should add "fish" to that list (for the same reason as seaweed.)
