About Me: I have not ate meat for three years now and recently became vegan again. I love life and myself. I am studying biology right now and I'm not sure where I am headed with it. How I became a veggie: I had to write a paper in 5th grade about dairy cows. I didn't give up meat for a couple years later though. I could never imagine going back. Being vegan is forever for me.

Actually yeah I do get a lot of support.
I've turned 2 of my friends into vegetarians, and my mom too.
But my dad tends to tease me about being vegan.
But it really doesn't bother me :]

Its definitely a lot easier being vegan here than it probably would be in, say, Texas lol. The hard part is trying to deal with people who never stop trying to get me to eat meat or cheese or whatever >_< Haha oh well.

How easy/difficult is it to be vegan in Louisiana??

I've only met just a few vegetarians here; no vegans. I could be wrong, but I don't believe North Carolina to be an animal-friendly state. Fortunately, there are a few vegetarian restaurants. There also are some health food stores and a co-op where I can get vegan-friendly food and supplies.

Hi. I do bake my own stuff from time to time. More often though, I eat stuff my friends make. Luckily, I have a bunch of friends who love to bake.

indeed - i did have a vegan pregnancy :)... it was a happy and healthy one and i am so glad i did :) i really can't imagine it being any other way, really. we also intend to raise Ocean vegan as well.

how did your family respond when you decided to go veg? i hope they were supportive.
