How I became a veggie: I stopped eating meat 12 years ago to be healthier. I became vegan 8 years ago after doing research on animal testing and factory farms. The thought of eating meat or dairy totally grosses me out.

Loved your response on overpopulation/child issue. When I was younger, I used to swear that I'd never have kids because of the state of the world and the environment. Now that I'm older, though, and have seen the way many of today's children are being brought up into the world... I completely agree with you. If I DO have a child, I'll stop at one, though. ;P
