How I became a veggie: I have been vegan since August 2005 and vegetarian since 1998. I went vegetarian for animal rights reasons and vegan for love...long story...quite dull in hindsight. The love went away but the vegan in me stayed. After all this time, my Gran has finally realised I am vegan. Apparently she once cared for an old lady who was a vegan (more likely a vegetarian). Whenever this lady had to explain her veg*n lifestyle, she had a standard saying. I liked it so much, I thought I'd repeat it here. "I eat neither flesh, nor fish, nor fowl"

really from wales. south haverfordwest is the english version. ha ha. My father was a serviceman. So I ended up in the states. Funny I haven't lived in the UK in many years, but everytime I go... its where I feel like "home" at.

btw that redemption song with Cash/strummner.. that song is fantastic. I remember the first time I heard it, Clash on broadway I think it is? totally made me cry tears of joy.
