About Me: Born and raised in Missouri, lived the last 6 1/2 years in California (Venice Beach!) and just moved to Manhattan (June 2008).
A few of my favorite things....the beach, the mountains, being outdoors, sports, animals, vegan food, positive people, music, movies, dancing, singing, bass guitar, art, painting, theatre, photography, acting, astrology, hiking, road trips, yoga, meditating, watching football, hockey & baseball, traveling, roller blading, reading, attempting to snowboard and surf, hearing live music, personal growth.....I could go on and on!

How I became a veggie: I have been vegan since 2006 and vegetarian since 2002. The reason I became vegan is because I love animals and would never want to contribute to the pain and suffering of any living being.

Welcome to Vegifide. Manhattan sounds like an exciting place to live. I lived in a little house in the Venice Canals quite a few years ago. I bet the little house has long since been bulldozed. Hey, if you're ever back in town for the holidays message me.
