I think I would have bawled right then and there if I had been on the Emeril show. My ex did that one time in our kitchen and the crabs screamed... it really turned my stomach and I had to leave the house.

Your "how I became a veggie" reminds me of The Last Mimzy where the little girl is talking about some sort of crustacean being killed, and her brother says "what about that chopped up cow you're eating?"

"what chopped-up cow?" (with a mouthful of burger)

If only all children would realize how crazy their (imposed) diets are. :)
