SipZ

Earlier this year I took a trip down to San Diego to visit my best friend who goes to college in La Jolla. As she is not vegan (nor are any of my friends) I proceeded to check local places via happycow.net. We found SipZ and decided to check it out for several reasons, one being it was close. The atmosphere was really cozy, the cups of water are very generous, and the menu was unlike any vegan eatery I had ever been to. Needless to say, we pigged out there for 2 days afterward. The orange chickn was my first pick, then the sweet and sour, a must have for any non-meat eater looking for something comforting. Also, the crispy Asian chikn salad was great. If you have room left after all of that, be sure to try the sweet rice with mango and the carrot cake! I have yet to find a better Asian vegan restaurant. 5 stars!
