I am going to assume this is the Trader Joe-erized version of the Glenny's brown rice marshmallow treats that I saw posted here. However, I haven't tried the Glenny ones to offer a comparison.

Soy Curls~*

I had not heard of these until a few weeks ago! I l-o-v-e them! We came across them at Food Fight in Portland where they are carried in Bulk, which I also love! They are great in stir-fry, but I have all kinds of other dishes I would like to try them in. The best part is that they are good for you too! :)

Uncle Eddie's Vegan Cookies

These are the best vegan cookies I have ever tasted and they are organic to boot. My niece and nephew, who are not vegan, think they are very tasty. We found Uncle Eddie's Vegan Cookies at our local Whole Foods Market. They come in a variety of types including Oatmeal Raisin, Chocolate Chip with Walnuts and Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip. My only complaint is that the cookies are not very big. A bag of 12 cookies will cost you roughly $5.00. Given the size of the cookie I think they are a bit pricey but for a junk food fix every now and again it is well worth it.

Kansas City Veggie Guide

Didn't really know where else to post this website: http://www.vegkansascity.com/

Not only do they let you know all the veggie options in KC but let you know which chain restaurants are veggie friendly. Also includes flyers to print and distribute, activism opportunities in KC, recipes, etc.
It's a nice resource even if you don't live here or don't plan on coming here :)

Mrs. Meyer's Clean Day line

Products include pet supplies (shampoos, stain removers), candles, hand soap and hand lotion, dish soap, laundry detergent, fabric softener, TONS of various household cleaners for bathroom and kitchen. Excellent scents include lavender, lemon verbena, geranium (my favorite), and I have a set of holiday cleaning supplies with a spicy gingerbread scent. AND THEY WORK!

Never tested on animals. Mrs. Meyer’s Clean Day products do not use any animal derived ingredients except the Furniture Cream, which does use the animal by-product beeswax.

'Fantastic' Falafel

I am always on the hunt for the perfect Falafel. It took about 25 minutes to make and I opted to Broil it instead of deep fry. It wasn't aweful but it wasn't great either. A little to much salt.

Oh it says it's vegan but after taking a look at the packaging I saw that it says it was made on shared equipment that also processes milk.

Guess I'll keep searching for that perfect Falafel.....

Odwalla Bar

On all Odwalla products it says "Real food for humans." Which is true for them to say because it's healthy and organic and doesn't taste like something you'd only feed an animal. They're full of flavor. They have a few bars I really like that is called Berries Gomega which is packed with vegetarian omega-3's, Banana Nut that has calcium and folate, and Choco-walla with antioxidants, beta carotene and vitamins C & E.
MaraNatha Organic (no stir) Creamy Peanut Butter

Okay, so I know that almond and cashew nut butters are probably so much better for me, but they are a bit too expensive for us to buy very often. So as a compromise to my nut butter lovin' self this is what I have found to be the best tasting Peanut Butter, thus far...

try it!!!

Miso my mayo! An amazing mayonnaise alternative

I wasn't exactly looking for an alternative to mayo before someone recommended Miso Mayo to me. I don't eat a lot of mayonnaise normally, but still, it's a steadfast condiment that always hits the spot when I need it. But I figured I give this soy-based vegan alternative a try--anything to liven up a dull sandwich, right? Miso Mayo is so good! You can tell for yourself because it says it right there on the bottle: "So Good!" They ain't lyin'.

Organic vegan shave cream!

Its pretty manly smelling but my special lady friend likes it so I'll use it. It works good, no complaints. Kinda weirds me out putting man smells on, if I were a little more gay I'd be into it. Smells like man-machines in the traditional sense.

Matt & Nat Zebrano handbag in Brown (Cognac)

I cannot even tell you how much I LOVE this handbag. First of all, the color, texture, etc are AMAZING! (I have it in the brown/Cognac color). I feel obliged to tell everyone who compliments me on it that's it's vegan/non-leather b/c it looks so good, you wouldn't know that it wasn't. It was a little expensive, I won't lie ($145), but worth every penny. Great details, with the zippered pockets, really cute plaid lining, pockets for cell, i-pod, etc. Just a really nice looking, well-made, super cute, super functional, quality handbag. Every time I look at it, it just makes me happy!

Vegan marshmallow kit

I've just joined Vegifide and hope it's not bad form to be submitting a review of my own product... Don't hate me!
But I really really want you people to know about this: here at Angel Food we sell kits so people can make their own fresh vegan marshmallows. True story.
You get two sachets of powder, plus the recipe, of course, and you add water, sugar, syrup and vanilla essence. You also need a candy/frying thermometer and an electric mixer. And then you're good to go.
Each kit makes about 50 good sized marshies. Or 15 huge marshmallow cones. Mmmmm, marshmallow cones....

Orville Redenbacher's Natural Garden Herb and Olive Oil

Going vegan I had to give up Butter flavored popcorn but... Alas!!! This is a healthier vegan alternative. It smells funky as hell while popping but it makes a great replacement for my junk food craving.

Plamil organic orange chocolate with cranberries

:) This is an unusual new product from Plamil, and one of a range of 3 new smaller-sized organic 50g bars.

This bar is basically chocolate just like their standard organic orange chocolate, but also with chunks of Cranberry in.

I've decided to give it 3 stars out of 5 because while the chocolate was no worse than it is usually, the spotlight does seem to be on the Cranberries with these bars, and the berries just ... well... fundamentally fail to excite me... you know ?
