Teese Vegan Cheese

There are two things in life I consider myself to be an expert in, food and food. So I certainly did not take this taste test lightly...
Anyone already familiar with Chicago Soy Dairy is surly aware that they are incapable of producing anything ranked less than unbelievably delicious and they really outdid themselves with this one. The Teese Cheese not only melts like a milk-based cheese, but even obtains that same golden brown color. The texture is dead on unlike any other vegan cheese I have tried in the past and the taste is simply just out of this world.

Being vegan is not only super easy, but incredibly enjoyable when there are products like Teese Cheese around.

This stuff is so freakin' good!! I'd want it even if I ate the "real" crap. I tried some soy cheese when I went vegan and not only was it like eating wet styrofoam, it wasn't vegan. Finding vegetarian stuff is pretty easy, vegan is more of a challenge. At least it is where I live for now.

Thankfully Teese can be ordered online. Yes!!

anyway ,as i'm here .....
have you
ever tried making
"yeaze "
with potato flour , chickpea flour or beans
nutritional yeast flakes / powder
some tamari... or marmite /vegemite is best
and then ... maybe some paprika , turmeric or cumin/caraway/celery/carrot seeds
and then just work it gently(hands are best) with a drop of ...sesame oil perhaps
....been a long time since i bothered ,
to be honest.
but that was the jist of it ....or use finely ground nuts
almonds hazels macas ....walnuts , of course
'cause i got shitloads! of em !
the above is more a drier tangier harder affair
won't keep so long
but mebbe worth a try
if you pander to strong cheese ie cheddar

if you want sump'n softer/sweeter/more subtle/meme sensuel
then use herbs garlic (!) tofu /nuts and oil
and blend it to an appropriate texture/consistency
for a creamy "scheeez!"
I have done this
but the above is just off the topleft middlerear of my brain
don'be wary of experimenting and gradually working your way
to an 'acceptable' taste and form
take away the convenience , the packaging and the cost
and there is no reason why you can not create something
as good as
if not better than your 'favorite'
you are the only person who knows what tastes 'good' to you
but we often buy into another 'pre-conceived' sensory experience
so it can be interesting by discovery and imagination
and healthy to your palette and preference
and fun
and if you hit on the right combination
and make a shithot'n'wicked recipe to die for
you will eat all you desire for nary a penny
