It is finally back! I couldn't find this stuff for awhile and almost went into panic-mode. Playfood was originally packaged in such a way that made it very difficult to actually get the stuff out. Now it is in a perfect little tub ready to be scooped out and enjoyed.
This stuff will blow your mind and I apologize to those of you who have nut allergies (made with raw organic cashews!). Playfood comes in 4 flavors: cheezy cheeze, nacheezmo, cream tang and whip cheeze. I highly recommend the Nacheezmo flavor--heat and add salsa. I promise it will be a staple in your fridge. I will be bringing this to any non-veg parties to show ppl there ARE great substitutions available.

Their website seems to be under construction. I'll have to call my local Whole Foods and see if they carry this! :)

If they don't already, just ask them to order. Whole Foods is, from what I've heard, pretty good about filling requests.

This stuff is pretty good. Here in KC you can also find it at H-Vee and Hen House. The chef who created it lives here in KC now and runs a raw food meetup. She makes AMAZING food! Her fresh cashew cheeses put cow cheese to shame!!

Has she re-opened fud? I thought they closed down!? We ate there several times and I was always impressed. I miss her "cheese"cake!

She is in the process of re-opening very soon. She has a spot in Westport and is waiting to do a little remodeling to it. I can't wait!!

I just went to Whole Foods Market here in KC for the first time, they had all sorts of Play Food products, including the "sour cream" and "cream cheese".

They have it at the Whole Foods in my area. From what I've been told, Whole Foods is pretty good about filling requests so maybe ask a manager to order some(?).
Also, there is a section on the website of stores that sell the stuff.

Forgot to add this was created by a vegan chef and it's made in Parkville, Missouri! Pretty cool.
It knocks Follow Your Heart down a notch.
