patchouli is fine. I'm not a patchouli nut or anything, but I do like the smell. I wear patchouli oil sometimes blended with other oils to create a nicer aroma. I feel like it home-y and comfortable, ie. generally feel that way around people that wear it or in an area patchouli incense is being burned or whatever.

I'm a smell person though. I looove candelss and scented oils and incsesne and all that yumm yumm.

Do yourself a favor and stay away. You'd instantly know the smell. there's nothing like it nor should there be. If i had 3 wishes, one would be that patchouli never existed. dirty hippy wannabes wear it to cover their funk. maybe that's a clue for ya.

I don't think there's a controversy. People who wear patchouli need to be burned at the stake. I believe in free expression and whatnot BUT it's wrong plain and simple. Like the saying "there are no bad questions". Guess what? So, let's support burning people at the stake again for the RIGHT reasons like the wearing of the devil's scent, patchouli.

Sass, sometimes you have to look at the bigger picture. short term is tough but the long term is heaven! i could always cover myself in some other silly essential oil for those days while it smells. any ideas?
