Whole Foods has landed in Stepfordville, news at 11.

Whole Foods recently opened it's Glastonbury location and apparently it is the place to be. Usually you see this kind of "see and be seen" turnout at a restaurant opening in this town, not a grocery store. Everyday grocery items have become a new trend: "Have you SEEN the new cupcakes?!? Oh, they are just scrumptious!"

People, where were you steering your European luxury sedans before WF came into town? FIFTEEN MINUTES away in West Hartford! These are not new, exclusive-to-Glastonbury cupcakes!

My personal favorite: "Oh, now you'll have someplace to shop in town, MC! I've heard that vegans shop at Whole Foods"

Since when is vegan a dirty word? I feel so ... nasty ... when the term is used by a WASP.
