Putting up the tree,lights & decorations,saying hello to old favourite decorations,like an old friend, & seeing new ones you forgot your brought,smiling at them!
Seeing into peoples homes on the dark dog walking evenings,all lit up for Xmas,seeing how they're enjoying it too!
Buying cheap Xmas crackers & still,like tradition,every year,wear the paper hat in it for Xmas lunch!

Seeing hubby open his,knowing how he wanted that gift!
Opening your window blinds to a glorious sunny morning.
Standing outside,listening to church bells,on a Sunday morning, in the distance & wondering how many others have done so through the years.

Autumn leaves,crunching under your feet,& the dogs running in them, & getting the odd leaf stuck in their ears & on their fur!

Cosy socks on a cold Winters night,cuddled up,under a fur throw,all cosy, with candles flickering on the walls.
Listening to the wonderful silence of snow falling & trying to catch a flake on your tongue!
Watching snow fall,looking up & watching the grey flakes against the sky,all unique,like us,all perfect,like us,all individual,like us.Then seeing how perfectly its fallen,not wanting it to go.
