We have four! Crazy, I know. :) I grew up in a small household & my husband is an only child; we set out wanting 6-8 children, though not all biological offspring.

We're in the beginning of adopting 2 brothers from Poland (my husband is 100% Polish). We'd also love to foster or adopt from my own tribe (Washoe), which can get tricky. It's worth all the paperwork. We figure since we have the means and the love, we should adopt and/or foster as many children as possible. :D

It can be very difficult to raise a child vegan ... and by that I mean, you have to put on a tough skin and imaginary earplugs. People tend to forget themselves when discussing how others raise their children. Like anything when raising children contrary to what is popular, it takes dedication and planning.

What is more difficult is trying to get adoption agencies to see the positives of raising a child vegan. :/
