Shuddup about Peeps

Easter is over, which means, thankfully, we don't have to listen to people expound upon the aesthetic virtues of Peeps and send us links to some slob's site with clever photos of Peeps, Peep-based crafts, or Peep destruction sites.

Shuddup! No, I don't like Peeps. I don't eat them. Peeps aren't even vegetarian. They're made with pork-derived gelatin. Really, instead of shaping Peeps like bunnies and chicks, they should make them look like little piglets. You know, pay homage to the source.

On second thought, no, because all next year I'd have to hear people talk about how cute/well-designed the Peeps piglets are and I'd have to see clever photos of the new piggy Peeps. And people would miss the point entirely and eat *more* Peeps.

I am sick of the very word peep.
