my paternal origins are from a part of Wiltshire (S.W. England) near a small village called Avebury , site of the largest stone circle in Britain , as well as many barrows and burial mounds .

I don't care much for the concept of time and breaking something we can't fully comprehend into segments, but it seems useful when walking the walk of contemplation, or reflection, or goal-setting; whatever you'd like to call it is fine by me. I didn't want to just use this "new," slightly awkward, 2009 as a basis for looking back upon a lonely 2008. The stale smell of this year has sent my brain back, far back, into the examination of what my life has been thus far. I have no intention of indulging into the gritty bits with this keyboard and computer screen.
