What's going on, homeslice? Looks like you haven't been around in some time. Coming back? I guess you can't answer that until you've answered that. Woah...

Anyway, I was just revisiting some old conversation threads, and it made me want to come say hello.

I think I'm going to be up your way this summer for a wedding in Washington. I'd really like to fly into Portland and experience Vegan Heaven for a few days. Any recommendations?

I know what you mesan Micah and I agree that, sometimes, with some people, it is a bit like banging your head against a brick wall (ie you are getting nowhere) and it is better to just stop but then someone posts something that is (in your opinion) either very rude or downright ridiculous and it is very hard not to reply.

Thing is, I've spent a long time fighting for all sorts of causes (metaphorically and physically, at times) and I tend to think that people should stand up for what they believe in and not just give in, that's just the way I am. I don't take it as an insult if someone disagrees with me and I just find it very odd that others do and I'm certainly never going to agree with something I don't just to 'keep the peace' (which is what some people do).

Anyway, it was good to meet people here but I doubt I'll spend a lot of time here in the future as the site seems very US based (which I'm not) and 'young' (which I'm certainly not). Not sure it's really suited for an old fighter like myself!! :-)

I am amazed at the people on here who seem to find nothing ethically wrong in occasionally eating animal products... how can people not see that the two things simply do not go toether?

It was going, going, and now he's gone. It was nice, he stayed just long enough to not completely get on my nerves, just mostly on my nerves. We have one of those, I love you, I hjate you relationships, without the abuse.

hello, love! no food not lawns here yet, but we are in the process of a pretty cool food take back! people are starting to use the fruits of the trees on corporate, government, beach and highway land. really awesome to see. have a kick ass week!! :) sharon
