Attention all cigarette smokers! Dude this is god's gift to us...www.freesmokeless.comI'm not proud of being a cigarette smoker. I've tried for years to quit or even cut back. Nothing seemed to work so I tried the electronic cigarette. I did research on the safety and this company is all good. Do the research yourself if you or know someone who smokes let them know about it. Not many people know about the e-cig. This company is also the cheapest to have built in atomizers in their cartridges (if you find out more, you'll know what I'm talking about). Anyway, I just wanted to share this with people who are struggling with smoking. Wed, 08/05/2009 - 1:10am — adamat |
Why Silk Soy Milk's Parent Company is Throwing American Farmers and Consumers Under the Bus(Obviously some on here likely avoid Silk and White Wave soy products since Dean Foods bought the company out anyhow, seeing as how Dean Foods is far from a "Vegan" or ethical company. But as if those weren't enough reasons to be displeased...) Even as demand for organic food continues to explode, organic farmers in America are getting thrown under the beet cart they helped build. Vegan Athlete speaks in STL this Thursday!!!Hello my wonderful StL veg*ns! I wanted to let you know that world class athlete Tim Van Orden will be speaking in St. Louis this Thursday night. Tim is a champion mountain, trail, and tower racer, and the man behind the Running Raw project. He's an incredible speaker, to boot! I hope there's a way we can notify those in your club very quickly, since this is a last minute event that I know they'll be interested in. Below is more information about Tim and the event. Thanks so much for your help in spreading the word, and I hope to see you there! Tue, 07/28/2009 - 1:02am — curlygirl82 |
Update re: my grandsonI posted a bulletin on here back in November i believe concerning my stepson's girlfriend who was pregnant and had run off with our grandson not letting anybody know where she was. She had a little girl in March. And then got tired of trying to raise 2 kids. She called my husband. And I'm happy to report that my husband is currently in Springfield, MO and has the boy in his custody. His mom has given up all rights to him and my husband will be returning home with him tomorrow. Kids' lower IQ scores linked to prenatal pollutionCHICAGO – Researchers for the first time have linked air pollution exposure before birth with lower IQ scores in childhood, bolstering evidence that smog may harm the developing brain. The results are in a study of 249 children of New York City women who wore backpack air monitors for 48 hours during the last few months of pregnancy. They lived in mostly low-income neighborhoods in northern Manhattan and the South Bronx. They had varying levels of exposure to typical kinds of urban air pollution, mostly from car, bus and truck exhaust. Mon, 07/20/2009 - 9:38am — Unovegan |
I hear crickets...So, there's three or four people who sign in and contribute here on a semi-regular basis (other than St Louis residents posting St Louis-centric things?) What happened? Why don't any of the newer members post anything? Fri, 07/17/2009 - 7:59pm — Vegan Avenger |
